Floats are a must for children who are unable to swim.
Sunscreen ointments or lotions should be used to shield children from the sun's damaging rays.
To avoid dehydration, parents must make sure the youngster drinks enough of water.
Swimming should never be done on an empty stomach or right after eating.
Parents should teach older brothers and sisters how to keep an eye on smaller siblings and remind them that in the event of a mishap. They should inform them that if they are unable to locate one of their brothers, they must immediately shout for aid in a loud voice.
Keeping survival tools and supplies near the pool is a top necessity.
For parents and supervisors of children, mastering the essentials of first aid and respiration is critical.
Ensure that the doors of the house leading to the swimming pool are locked in the presence of young children who cannot swim.
