Sharjah 24: As part of its pioneering efforts to support entrepreneurs and develop media as part of the integrated economic system in Sharjah and the UAE, Sharjah Media City (Shams) launched ShamsTalks, a series of webinars where industry experts share their advices about media-related topics.
ShamsTalks aims at enhancing the business environment and developing media, through qualifying entrepreneurs and giving them the opportunity to benefit from the best global experiences and leading practices to develop their businesses.
The innovative initiative allows young talents to discuss many important issues in relation to media and various business fields. Moreover, the initiative contributes in creating a positive environment for the development of many vital sectors enriching the booming economy in Sharjah.
ShamsTalks initiative includes a number of webinars on Zoom, and hosts a group of experts and specialists in the field of media, digital media and media production in the UAE and the region. ShamsTalks also include many entrepreneurs and owners of pioneering relevant experiences. All interested entrepreneurs, owners of small and medium enterprises, and university students can participate in ShamsTalks webinars.
On this occasion, His Excellency Dr. Khalid Al Midfa, Chairman of Sharjah Media City (Shams), said that Shams works according to a clear vision aimed at providing young people and entrepreneurs with the best and latest experiences and practices, to enhance their role in media, and to contribute to the establishment of an integrated sector relying on modern technology and the use of the latest scientific trends, market research and other tools to meet the various challenges of the industry.
His Excellency Marwan bin Jassim Al Sarkal, Executive Chairman of Sharjah Investment and Development Authority “Shurooq”, appreciated Shams initiative for organising a series of webinars aim at helping companies and business leaders to benefit from media developments in Sharjah and the UAE, and to invest in advanced media technologies supporting and improving communication with consumers in all business sectors, especially in retail.
