Sharjah 24: In line with the government ambitions aimed at implementing the best international standards and practices, and enhancing the quality of institutional work, Al Hamriyah Cultural and Sports Club was able to add a new pioneering and distinguished achievement renewing four ISO specifications: ISO 9001: 2015 for Quality Management; ISO 14001: 2015 for Environmental Management System, ISO 45001: 2018 for Occupational Health and Safety Management System, ISO 20121: 2012 for Sustainable Events Management System.
Al Hamriyah Cultural and Sports Club renewed the four ISO specifications after completing the necessary requirements of an external audit carried out by AlRyada for Consulting and Management Studies.
Al Hamriyah Cultural and Sports Club is the first club in Sharjah to obtain such specifications since 2012.
His Excellency Gomaa Obaid Al Shamsi, Chairman of the Hamriyah Cultural and Sports Club was pleased to confirm that the renewal reflects the great efforts made by the Club to promote the organisational and administrative excellence, aiming to achieve strategic goals, enhance the culture of innovation and creativity, improve the quality of services, unify performance standards.
His Excellency indicated that the latest achievement reflects the Club’s commitment to develop operations and services in accordance with the best international practices.
His Excellency Dr. Sultan Al Shamsi, the Club Excellence Advisor said that the renewal is an important addition to the Club’s achievements, as it reflects the Club’s keenness to translate the directions and vision of the UAE government and the government of Sharjah based on excellence.
Al Shamsi pointed that this achievement puts the Club once again at the forefront of Sharjah, which motivates the rest of the clubs to obtain the same specifications later. His Excellency also extended his thanks to His Excellency Gomaa Obaid Al Shamsi, Chairman of the Hamriyah Cultural and Sports Club, and all members of the Board of Directors for their tireless efforts.
