'Unauthorised' Banksy exhibition comes to London

May 18, 2021 / 7:57 PM
Sharjah 24 – AFP: An exhibition of works by the anonymous artist Banksy is opening in London as easing Covid restrictions allow cultural events to restart.
The ‘unauthorised’ exhibition is made up of works in private hands, and is criticised by the artist on his website.

Organisers say it is an important opportunity for a wide audience to see ‘iconic’ works which would otherwise not be on public display.

‘The Art of Banksy: Unauthorised Private Collection’ opens on Thursday 20 May in London’s Covent Garden district.
