Thabet Al Tarifi, Director General of Sharjah Municipality, stated that all sectors and departments of SM have developed work plans to receive Eid Al Fitr, forming teams that work around the clock to deal with the public’s observations and inquiries. SM teams will conduct intensive inspection campaigns and visits covering various fields, including food establishments, hair salons and beauty centres, as well as raising public awareness.
Ali Obaid Al Hamoudi, Director of the Institutional Communication Department, explained that Sharjah parks will receive the public according to preventive measures that ensure social distancing.
Sharjah Municipality warned against dealing with free-lance butchers, as they pose a threat to health and hygiene of people and the community.
Sharjah Municipality also warned against the use of fireworks as they pose a danger to members of society, especially children. SM called on the public to contact its call centre to report any violations or remarks, as calls are welcomed around the clock.
