Police Academy signs a partnership agreement with Tandem

Sharjah 24: In line with the Sharjah Police Sciences Academy desire to provide modern, high-quality training and evaluation programmes with the highest international standards for employees of the Sharjah Police General Command and the Academy, the Academy signed a partnership agreement with Tandem Consulting Co, which is one of the largest specialised companies locally and regionally.
The Agreement aims at training skilled security personnel, and providing them with the appropriate methods meeting the police work requirements. The agreement was signed by His Excellency Dean Dr. Mohammad Khamis Al Othmani, Director General of the Police Sciences Academy, and Engineer Khaled Muhammad Ismail, Tandem Consulting Co Regional Director.
The cooperation agreement framework includes the Company commitment to implement the digital development project for calibers in accordance with the agreed standards and specifications, implementing four programmes: The first programme evaluates leaders using the comprehensive assessment tool, Psychometric Assessment; the second programme develop leaders through Gamification; the third programme aims to develop employees’ customer service skills; and the fourth programme offers a training in resilience, adaptation and development.
Upon completion of programmes, the Company will provide a report on participants’ performance. Certificates will also be awarded to the participants from Gamelearn, a Spanish development company, and final certificates from Tandem. Dean Dr. Al Othmani was pleased with the partnership and cooperation, strengthened by the agreement signed with Tandem, indicating that such partnership offers police personnel promising opportunities for training and evaluation provided by local and international experts, which will enhance their job skills and refine their experiences.
