Sharjah 24: Sharjah Children, an affiliate of the Rubu' Qarn Foundation for Creating Leaders and Innovators, concluded the "Welcome Ramadan" programme remotely launched as part of the Ramadan initiative, “We will reach you wherever you are”.
The initiative targets 6 to 12 year-old children on Instagram account “Shjchc” and “Zoom” from April 13 to May 7, 2021.
During the third and fourth weeks of the programme, several workshops had been held to teach children the basics of the Emirati “story telling”, where children produced various artistic works.
The programme elicited children participation, in addition to their interaction in Ramadan competitions held on the Foundation social media pages.
The programme, that aimed to educate children about healthy and ethical behaviours in their daily practices, included three topics: traditions, health, and moral and behavioural values.
It is worth noting that Sharjah Children aims, through this initiative, to promote healthy and positive behaviours, instill moral values in the hearts of children, and effectively communicate with children and their parents through initiatives targeting children, as well as introducing Sharjah Children activities and events to the public.
