Sharjah 24: “Ahl Al Wid” (“People of Kindness”) initiative, launched by Sharjah Social Empowerment Foundation (SSEF) was positively welcomed by the families of orphans as part of its Ramadan Empowerment Camp programmes.
The initiative focuses on entrenching the principles of compassion and harmony with their relatives, building family bonds and positively integrating them into their social environment.
The Foundation implemented many interactive workshops and panel discussions that were remotely organised during the holy month of Ramadan to motivate children to communicate with their relatives from their fathers’ side; to achieve the greatest possible benefit; and to entrench important principles in children such as self-confidence, self-esteem and generosity.
Sheikha Al Tunaiji - Head of the SSEF Social Service Department said that the Foundation plays an important role by proposing initiatives that promote orphans prominent principles and values.
The Initiative beneficiaries confirmed that the participation deepened strong feelings in the hearts of parents, and guided them towards great values and important principles of communication, in addition to enhancing self-confidence in children.
