Dr. Al-Doubi talked that fasting educates a person in the importance of visiting relatives and caring for the family, indicating that when the ancestors fast, they do not fast on their own but with their children, in order to take care of them. In addition to, teaching them to fast from eating and drinking, aiming to instil them with obedience and acts of worship, while they are young, so that they can grow up on them.
He continued by saying that during the last ten days of Ramadan: The Prophet, Peace be upon Him, used to wake up the family of His house to stay the night with Him, and worship Allah, so the fasting person does not fast on his own, but fasts with his children and family, making Ramadan a close family atmosphere.
