Sharjah 24: Sharjah Directorate of Public Works (SDPW) has completed an integrated building project for the Civil Defence in the Central Region of Sharjah, which extends over an area of 9.5 thousand square metres, in Al Maliha area.
The total area of the project is 1500 square metres, and it consists of one floor designed in the local style. In addition, the project includes places designated for training on simulation and firefighting operations, a fire station, and a field for training and military parade. The project also contain a warehouse for storing supplies and equipment, a building for workshops and maintenance, housing rooms for individuals with an area of 415 square metres and a multi-purpose hall.
Engineer Mohammed bin Yaarouf, Director of Branches Department, said that the project embodies the visions of the wise leadership towards the design and implementation of buildings for the departments of the Ministry of Interior, according to the latest specifications and future requirements, indicating that the new project is one of the edifices that raise the level of civil defence services is designed to serve the people in the region and provide fire, ambulance and rescue services.
