Al Khalidiya Suburb Council celebrates Int’l Workers' Day

Sharjah24: Al Khalidiya Suburb Council affiliated to Districts and Villages Affairs Department (DVAD) on Friday evening organised a charitable initiative to celebrate the International Workers' Day, with the aim of bringing joy and happiness to their hearts and the hearts of their families and children.
On this occasion, His Excellency Khalfan Saeed Al-Marri, Chairman of the Khalidiya Suburb Council in Sharjah, met the support groups in the Council and in all the departments of DVAD and the Councils and other departments, praising their efforts, roles and constant dedication.
A financial amount of 45,300 dirhams was provided to the support groups by the Chairman of the Council to enhance these initiatives, social responsibility and human compassion during the month of Ramadan, in line with the Council’s initiatives. His Excellency Khalfan Saeed Al-Marri has highlighted the importance of such humanitarian initiative.
