Sharjah24: Sheikh Sultan bin Ahmed Al Qasimi, Chairman of the Sharjah Media Council, praised the cultural session organised by the Sharjah Press Club as part of the activities of its tenth Ramadan Majlis, which was held on Wednesday at the Khorfakkan Amphitheater.
In statements to “Sharjah 24”, he said that the session was distinguished by the participants and the discussion axes that shed light on the role of culture in building awareness, especially among the youth.
Al Qasimi valued the participation of Sheikha Mai Al Khalifa, Chairman of the Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities, Rashid Al Kous, Executive Director of the Emirates Publishers Association, and the media session was moderated by Sheikha Al Mutairi.
He stressed the importance of the activities emanating from the Ramadan Majlis, which he considered an important tributary to spreading culture and knowledge, adding that the most important characteristic of its tenth edition is the diversity in the topics that are put up for discussion, and the Sharjah Government Media Bureau was keen to organise dialogue sessions in separate areas of the Emirate of Sharjah, to reach the largest number possible from the audience.
