Sharjah 24: Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Crown Prince and Deputy Ruler of Sharjah, Chairman of the Executive Council, explained that Emirati youth is the main element in the development and progress plans adopted by the UAE, as their efforts contribute to achieving all the desired goals and promoting the country’s position to the highest levels.
On the occasion of the announcement of the new formation of the Sharjah Youth Council in its fifth edition, the Sharjah Crown Prince said: “The aspirations of young people and their high interest reflect the future image of the UAE, as they will lead the development and progress wheel to continuity on the right paths set by the leaders and founders of our country.”

Sharjah Crown Prince added: “We, in the Sharjah government, under the directives of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohamed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, endeavour to support young people, meet all their requirements and place them within all development projects and initiatives, and implementing specialised programmes that contribute to their care and development of their skills and abilities.”

Local youth councils aim to promote youth work in every emirate, by translating the national youth agenda into initiatives on the ground, in cooperation with the executive councils in each emirate, where members of the local councils will work to develop policies based on the best international studies, to empower youth who will be involved in implementing these initiatives.
