Khalid bin Saqr Al Qasimi: “Aman” is the approved EWS

Sharjah24: His Excellency Sheikh Eng. Khalid bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Chairman of the Prevention and Safety Authority, stressed the importance of installing “Aman”, the Early Warning System (EWS) approved in the emirate, which comes as part of the Authority’s commitment to enhance the public safety and security, in line with the directives of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohamed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, aiming to promote the protection of life and property.
Sheikh Eng. Khalid bin Saqr Al Qasimi stated that “Aman” is the system approved in the Emirate of Sharjah in accordance with Executive Council Resolution No. 20 of 2019, and the decision requires the industrial and commercial establishments and residential buildings to install the system to protect community members from fire hazards around the clock.
During the first quarter of 2021, the Prevention and Safety Authority inspected (1566) establishments in the Emirate of Sharjah, in line with its annual plan to inspect establishments and buildings in the emirate. In this quarter, it targeted commercial establishments in industrial areas in the city of Sharjah.
