Sharjah 24: In implementation to the directives of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohamed Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah, to pay attention to agriculture and enhance the aesthetic appearance of the Emirate, Sharjah Municipality (SM) revealed the completion of the project to cultivate the new building of the General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs (GDRFA) in Sharjah within a record time not exceeding 48 hours.
During a field visit, SM was informed, in the presence of His Excellency Thabet Al Tarifi, Director General of the Sharjah Municipality (SM) and Eng. Hassan Al Taffaq, Assistant Director-General for Agriculture and Environment at SM, on all the details of the project after its completion and the most prominent stages it went through.
His Excellency Al Tarifi confirmed that the agricultural work included extending irrigation networks according to the best standards, providing green grass, and various types of plants and flowers, as the municipality provided more than 2000 flowers and planted more than 3 thousand seedlings of various trees and shrubs. In addition to 200 sustainable indoor seedlings distrusted it within the corridors and at the offices of employees.
For his part, Eng. Hassan Al Taffaq, Assistant Director-General for Agriculture and Environment at SM, stated that the areas surrounding the building were covered with green spaces on an area of 20 thousand square metres, with the use of more than 220 tons of organic fertilizer produced by the municipality.
