Sharjah24: The Sharjah Electricity, Water and Gas Authority (SEWA) announced that it would allow customers to purchase low pressure switchgear from approved companies registered with the authority, after preparing a comprehensive study on the technical and standard specifications of the requirements, in order to facilitate the dealers, consultants and electricity contractors.
Engineer Hassan Al Zarouni, Director of the Electricity Services Department stated that the decision to allow customers to purchase low-pressure switchgear for their homes and facilities from companies approved and registered with the authority comes to provide them with the opportunity to choose what suits them from companies and meet the demands of customers, indicating that the companies approved and registered with the authority are manufacturers of electrical panels they have been carefully selected according to a study that guarantees the quality of the products, their validity, and the safety and security standards in their use.
He explained that the authority is working according to a comprehensive strategy to upgrade the quality system and enable subscribers to obtain high-efficiency and safe products and provide the original requirements.
He added that all the supplies for the external network, including cables, transformers, and switchgear provided by the Authority, are of the finest products that achieve network stability and provide security and safety in all regions.
