Sharjah24: Sharjah Cooperative Society announced that it will allocate an amount of 30 million dirhams to support more than 20,000 consumer goods during the blessed month of Ramadan, as part of the initiatives provided by it to reduce the burden on consumers, including special offers on products of up to 90%, and an additional budget of 25 million dirhams has been allocated to reduce Prices of 15 thousand products throughout the current year.
His Excellency Majid Salem Al Junaid, CEO of the Sharjah Cooperative, thanked His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohamed Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah, for his unlimited and constant support for the cooperative’s march.

His Excellency the CEO explained that the cooperative worked within early preparedness plans for the month of Ramadan to provide sufficient stocks of basic food commodities that will be offered as part of the Ramadan offers, to ensure that the needs of the people are met throughout the holy month.

His Excellency stressed the readiness of all branches to receive shoppers during the holy month of Ramadan, while adhering to health and regulatory instructions issued by the competent authorities, applying precautionary measures and a social distancing policy, and taking all necessary measures to sterilize shopping carts.

He pointed out that the cooperative has taken the initiative to reduce the prices of 15000 products throughout the year 2021, and allocated an additional budget of 25 million, as part of its strategy to reduce prices for shoppers, as the cooperative aims to become the first to reduce prices at the level of other sales outlets by the end of 2021.
