Sharjah24: Sharjah Consultative Council (SCC) discussed during the 14th session, which was held under the Chairmanship of His Excellency Ali Mehd Al Suwaidi, Chairman of the Council, the policy of the Sharjah International Airport Authority, and the important sectors in the Emirate of Sharjah.
The interventions of more than twenty members were objective and logical, and their interventions unified the importance of the airport and the development of all its services to overcome the repercussions of the Coronavirus and its impact on air traffic.
The session held by the Council on Thursday morning as part of its work for the second regular session of the tenth legislative session, in which it discussed the policy of the Sharjah International Airport Authority, in the presence of Ali Salem Al Midfa, a member of the Sharjah Executive Council, Chairman of the Authority, and Sheikh Faisal bin Saud Al Qasimi, Director of the Authority.
In his speech, His Excellency Ali Salem Al Midfa, Chairman of the Sharjah Airport Authority, praised the advisory council’s role in raising the various issues that contribute to the development of all services in the emirate.
Then he gave a full explanation of the airport business in an integrated visual presentation, passenger ratios and airport development.
At the end of the session, His Excellency Ahmed Saeed Al Jarwan, Secretary-General announced that the next session, which is the fifteenth, will be held by the Council on Thursday evening, corresponding to April 15 of 2021. Discussing the council’s draft recommendations regarding the policy of the Sharjah International Airport Authority.
