SCI to distribute one million Iftar meals during Ramadan

Sharjah24: The Sharjah Charity International (SCI) intends to distribute one million Iftar meals to fasting people, inside and outside the country, during the holy month of Ramadan.
The SCI confirmed its readiness to receive the donations from those who wish to support the " “Ramadan Iftar saem” " project, through which it prepares to distribute one million iftar meals to fasting people in 93 iftar sites within the country, in addition to distributing meals to fasting people in the countries where the SCI is located,through direct coordination with the country's embassies and offices in those countries, calling on the benefactors to support the project and contribute to its success.
Commenting on this in a statement, Abdullah Sultan bin Khadim, Executive Director of Sharjah Charity International (SCI) stated that the Supreme Committee for the Campaign for the Holy Month of Ramadan continues to receive donations to ensure full support and implementation of the projects announced earlier, pointing out that the Supreme Committee has already coordinated with 31 kitchens to supply Iftar meals.
Bin Khadim spoke about the 93 sites identified by the Sharjah Charity International for distribution of the meals within the country, where about 25 thousand meals are distributed daily, at the rate of 750 thousand meals inside the country throughout the holy month, in addition to the distribution of 250 thousand meals in coordination with the embassies of the state, and through the offices of the SCI in the beneficiary countries.
