SSC, SP sign MoU to strengthen joint cooperation

Sharjah24: The Sharjah Sports Council (SSC) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Sharjah Police General Command to strengthen the joint cooperation and the Council’s relations with government agencies and institutions in the emirate in a way that supports its strategic plans and objectives, contributing to enhancing the sporting and societal role, establishing strategic partnerships, and implementing various plans and programs between the two parties as provided by the memorandum of understanding.
The memorandum was signed recently at the Sharjah Police Officers Club in the presence of His Excellency Major General Saif Al-Zari Al-Shamsi, Commander-in-Chief of Sharjah Police, and His Excellency Issa Hilal Al Hazami, Chairman of Sharjah Sports Council, in the presence of several dignitaries. 

Commenting on this, His Excellency Issa Hilal Al Hazami affirmed that the signing of a memorandum of understanding with the Sharjah Police General Command is part of the Council’s efforts to communicate effectively with government agencies and institutions,  aiming to ensure joint cooperation in implementation of the visions and directives of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohamed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, and the following up of Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Sharjah Crown Prince, Deputy Ruler, and Chairman of the Sharjah Executive Council (SEC). 

Ha continued to highlight the role of the Sharjah Police General Command at all levels in the emirate. The MoU aims to create an effective partnership and strategy between the two parties that serve the public interests in light of the Council’s endeavor to provide a suitable sporting environment.

His Excellency concluded to laud the new partnership with the Sharjah Police General Command, stressing that it contributes to translating the Council's various endeavors to develop sport in the emirate and benefit from the exchange of experiences between the two parties.
