Sharjah24: The delegation of the Public Utilities Committee of the Sharjah Consultative Council (SCC), during its visit to the Sharjah International Airport Authority Monday, was briefed on the statistics of the number of passengers and the development projects carried out by the Sharjah International Airport Authority, including works and expansions in all airport facilities.
The committee expressed its appreciation for the efforts of the Sharjah International Airport Authority in achieving continuous growth as well as applying the best standards in dealing with the emerging corona virus pandemic and preserving the health of travelers.

This came during the reception of His Excellency Ali Salem Al Midfa, Member of the Sharjah Executive Council and Chairman of the Sharjah International Airport Authority, to the delegation of the Public Utilities Committee headed by His Excellency Muhammad Salem Al Tuniji, Chairman of the Committee.

At the beginning of the meeting, His Excellency Ali Salem Al-Midfa, Chairman of the Sharjah International Airport Authority, welcomed and appreciated the visit of the Public Utilities Committee of the Sharjah International Airport Authority Advisory Council and briefed it on its work and achievements, and praised the role of the Council and its national work and communication with citizens.

After that, the Chairman of the Sharjah International Airport Authority provided an integrated explanation of all airport services and what is offered to travelers in addition to the upcoming development projects and their efforts to secure a healthy environment for travelers in light of the Coronavirus pandemic.

After that, the members of the advisory board from the Public Utilities Committee interfered in putting forward many ideas and proposals that converge with the authority's efforts aimed at developing the airport and its services.

Then, at the end of the visit, members of the committee toured all airport facilities.
