Sharjah Women’s Sports Club wins 5 medals in Karate

Sharjah 24: Sharjah Women's Sports Club team won five medals, including two gold, two silver and a bronze in the British Karate Championship, within the "Kata" game, which was conducted remotely with the participation of 25 clubs representing 14 countries from different countries of the world.
For her part, Maitha bin Dhawi, Assistant Director of Sharjah Women's Sports Club, expressed her happiness with this international achievement, stating that this is evidence of the interest in the game between clubs and the Karate Federation, as well as the intense training that took place in previous periods in light of the COVID-19 pandemic. 

Maitha bin Dhawi added that earning this number of medals among this large number of female players from 14 countries around the world with 25 clubs is a very positive indicator for the karate game, which is receiving attention like the rest of the games under the umbrella of the Sharjah Women's Sports Foundation.
