Sharjah24: Abdullah Mohammed Al Owais, Chairman of Sharjah Department of Culture honoured, on Sunday, authors of the Department publications and poets , Nasser Al-Bakr Al Zaabi, Talal Salem, Dr. Hind Al-Mashmoum, Dr. Abeer Jumaa Al Hosani and Nizar Abu Nasser.
Al Owais emphasised that the Department of Culture continues to honour creators according to the vision and generous patronage of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohamed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah.
Chairman of Sharjah Department of Culture stated that the honouring of authors is a programme that the department has been carrying out for years, highlighting that honour embraces all meanings of encouragement for writers, translators and creators to continue their journey and stimulate them to cooperate with the department.
In turn, the honourees expressed their happiness and gratitude with this honour, appreciating the department's efforts to encourage creators and writers on their cultural journey.
