Sharjah24: Department of Family Development Centers (DFDC) affiliated to Supreme Council for Family Affairs in Sharjah discussed with University of Sharjah (UoS) ways of cooperation in conducting a study on the impact of social distancing due to Covid-19 pandemic on the stability and cohesion UAE's families.
This came during a meeting held by DFDC with a research team from the university in the presence of Reham Al Sabt, Director of the Studies and Knowledge Department at DFDC, along with a number of heads from both sides.
The meeting’s members discussed the mechanism of preparing a study on the impact of social distancing due to Corona pandemic on family cohesion, underscoring the main causes of family's conflict in the UAE.
Commenting on that, Reham Al Sabt emphasised that this meeting came within the framework of the DFDC's efforts to support members of the family in facing social challenges due to Corona virus crisis, and to strengthen ties and social relations that support family cohesion, stressing that the DFDC is working on providing the ultimate levels of support and social care for all segments of society under the patronage and close follow up of Sheikha Jawaher bint Mohammed Al Qasimi, wife of His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah and Chairperson of the Supreme Council for Family Affairs (SCFA).
