Sharjah Sports Club’s Board of Directors holds meeting

Sharjah24: The Board of Directors of the Sharjah Sports Club held ,on Monday evening via video communication, its regular meeting under the chairmanship of His Excellency Ali Salem Al Midfa, Chairman of the Sharjah Sports Club (SSC), in the presence of the members of the Board of Directors, stressing the importance and the necessity to intensify efforts to support the first football team.

The Sharjah Football Club management, in cooperation with the Health Affairs and Sports Medicine Department, decided to dispense with the current medical device for the first football team.

The company confirmed during a meeting of the club's board of directors headed by His Excellency Ali Salem Al-Midfa that a new medical device is being appointed to oversee the process of treating players during the injury period and preparing them appropriately in order to return to the stadiums and avoid the return of injuries again.

During the meeting, His Excellency Ali Salem Al Midfa has lauded the public’s keenness to improve the achievements of the club, underscoring the team’s importance among the public. 

After the approval of the minutes of the previous meeting, the attendees discussed the meeting’s agenda, which included several topics, most importantly the financial and administrative report of the club, which was reviewed by Sultan Askar, Head of the Financial and Administrative Affairs Department. Tariq Al-Midfa, Head of the Strategy and Quality Department, reviewed also the draft of the Club’s strategic plan in addition to the goals, mission and values, which met with the acceptance of the members.

During the meeting, the establishment of a general committee was approved to discuss bonus regulations. 

For his part, Muhammad Ali Al Quseir as Director Executive of Sharjah Sports Club, reviewed the maintenance work in the club’s facilities and Sharjah Stadium in particular, and preparing to host the AFC Champions League matches during April, when the AFC agreed to Sharjah hosting the group.

Concluding the remote meeting, Abdullah Al-Ajlah reviewed a report on the condition of the first team and the most important reasons that led to the decline in the results and the team’s performance during the previous period.
