SEWA restores temporary connection services

Sharjah24: The Joint Services Department of Sharjah Electricity, Water and Gas Authority (SEWA) announced the reconnection of temporary electricity and water connection services after stopping these services for more than 3 years due to development networks works in all regions of the Emirate of Sharjah.
The department also announced the reorganisation of procedures to receive requests for additional loads of all projects with a maximum load 100 k F.

Saeed Al Suwaidi, Chairman of SEWA, stated that the reconnection of these services comes within a gamut of procedures that are being reviewed to facilitate and develop SEWA’s services provided to customers and keep pace with the electronic transformation, in addition to taking the necessary measures to provide competent and speedy services. 

He pointed out that SEWA is working according to the wise vision and directives of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohamed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah , and a follow-up of Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Crown Prince and Deputy Ruler of Sharjah, to review and develop procedures of electricity, water and gas services in accordance with the highest standards of reliability and efficiency and shift towards an advanced digital infrastructure, aw well as the adoption of the latest technologies to achieve customer satisfaction. 

Maryam Obaid bin Hashem, Director of the Joint Services Department, explained that receiving requests for temporary connection of electricity and water services began on 28 February, while the requests to add loads will start on 4th of March . She added that all requests are received via e-mail [email protected]  in line with the digital transformation and the application of precautionary measures.
