Sharjah Children organises workshops to develop children's skills

Sharjah24: Sharjah Children, affiliated to the Rubu 'Qarn Foundation for Creating Leaders and Innovators, organised various workshops and programmes with the aim of developing the skills of children in the age 6-12 through visual communication channels.
In the science and technology track, many programmes were presented, including the "green footprint" programme, which aims to introduce children to renewable and sustainable energy sources, in addition to energy sources.

While introducing children during programming workshops to the basic concepts of programming using the "SmoothY" scripting language, which works to develop their mental and analytical skills, and train them on how to build a programming sentence and simplified traditions that enable them to create their own applications through an enjoyable and easy-to-understand method.

As for the skills programme, a workshop entitled "Letter Challenge" was implemented. The workshop aimed at developing children's linguistic and literary abilities, in addition to learning writing and correct expression of words in English and increasing the child's self-confidence and ability to speak to the public in English.
