SEC, FUNN sign a joint agreement to support talented students

Sharjah24: The Sharjah Education Council (SEC) signed a joint cooperation agreement with FUNN, the Sharjah-based organisation dedicated to promoting and supporting media arts learning among children and youth, which is affiliated with the Executive Office of Her Highness Sheikha Jawaher bint Mohammed Al Qasimi, wife of His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah and Chairperson of the Supreme Council for Family Affairs, to support talented students in Sharjah schools in the field of media art.
The Sharjah Education Council was signed on Tuesday by Mohammed Ahmed Al Mulla, Secretary General of the Council, and for the Funn Foundation, Sheikha Jawaher bint Abdullah Al Qasimi.

The agreement between the two sides included strengthening the close cooperation relations between the Sharjah Education Council and the FUNN Foundation in many fields, in order to enhance joint cooperation and extend bridges of cooperation to serve students of Sharjah schools.

The signed agreement paved the way for cooperation between the council and the FUNN Foundation and the convergence of their joint efforts for the development of human cadres in the field of arts and the graduation of students who possess scientific and professional skills in this field.

The agreement referred to strengthening joint cooperation to achieve its set of common goals in strengthening joint cooperation relations and strengthening strategic partnerships between the two parties, with the aim of establishing a culture of innovation, excellence and effective coordination between the two parties in the field of media art and supporting talented students in Sharjah schools.

The agreement stipulates the organisation or sponsorship of training programmes and workshops, with work to involve students of Sharjah schools in courses, camps or events in the field of media art.

His Excellency Mohammed Ahmed Al Mulla, Secretary-General of the Sharjah Education Council, praised the importance of such agreements that contribute to achieving the council’s strategic goals within the framework of the continuous interest in school students and in a manner that serves the Emirate of Sharjah and fulfills the wise leadership’s aspirations for developing students ’capabilities in all fields.

Her Excellency Sheikha Jawaher bint Abdullah Al Qasimi, Director of the FUNN Foundation, emphasised the importance of the agreement with the Sharjah Education Council, which reflects the continuing success of the Foundation in achieving its goals and its concern for the graduation of generations possessing scientific and professional skills in accordance with the Her Highness Sheikha Jawaher bint Mohammed Al Qasimi.
