Sharjah24: The Department of Family Development Centres (DFDC), within the programs of the Homeland Family Campaign for 2021, organised the first rounds of its awareness program "180 degrees of change", with the aim of enhancing the personal, psychological and social aspects of community members, and making them aware of ways to build a cohesive family and raise its culture for a safe and stable society.
The session, which was organised through the visual communication feature, witnessed the participation of 302 male and female affiliates from various institutions and government departments in Sharjah, as well as a number of community members.
The two-day course, presented by Dr. Amal Al-Nimr, a psychological and family counselor at the Department of Family Development Centers, highlighting the importance of happiness and positivity, in addition to applying scientific exercises on the mechanism of self-control, as well as providing advice and guidance on ways to achieve the level of psychological empowerment.
Commenting on this, Najla Al-Zadjali, Head of Family Programs Department at the Family Development Centers Department in Sharjah, indicated that organising the "180 degrees of change" program comes within the framework of the administration's endeavor to work on developing and empowering the human personality, through an awareness program that deals with psychological empowerment from various aspects.
