Sharjah24: Under the generous patronage of Lieutenant General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, and in the presence of senior officers at the Ministry of Interior, and various media, His Excellency Major General Saif Al-Zari Al-Shamsi, Commander-in-Chief of Sharjah Police inaugurated on Monday the 39th edition of the annual Police Shooting Championship (PSC), organised by the Sports Police Union at the Ministry of Interior, in cooperation with the General Command of Sharjah Police, at the shooting range in Al Khedira.
The championship activities will continue until the twenty-fourth of this month, as this edition comes amid high precautions and health measures aimed at ensuring the health of the guests, participants and the technical teams supervising the organisation and protecting them from exposure to the Covid 19 virus, with the participation of (11) teams representing various police leaderships’ sectors in the Ministry of Interior.
Being attended by a number of officials and dignitaries, the Police Shooting Championship has inaugurated with various activities that enhance the shooting skills of the participants.
Wishing success for all the participants, His Excellency Major General Saif Al-Zari Al-Shamsi welcomed the participating teams in the annual Police Shooting Championship in its 39th edition of 2021, including various police leaderships in the country, expressing his happiness and pride in the aspects of joint cooperation between Sharjah Police and the Sports Police Union at the Ministry of Interior in all fields, especially in the field of sports work .
