Sharjah 24: Schools in Sharjah will implement 100 per cent e-learning for students in public and private schools and kindergartens’ pupils until the end of February following the Covid-19 outbreak.
The Local Emergency Crisis and Disaster Management Team in Sharjah, will implement the new policy decision in cooperation with the Ministry of Education and the Sharjah Private Education Authority (SPEA).
The Local Emergency Crisis and Disaster Management Team will be continuously monitoring the latest developments of the situation and assessing the health indicators in the emirate.
Teachers continue to run classes at their respective schools.
The Team stated that the decision is in the interest of the safety of students and the educational staff, guaranteeing the success of the education process.
The Team noted that the suspension decision stems from the constant keenness of the wise leadership to guarantee the safety and health of students, and to provide alternate remote learning methods.
