Sharjah24: Abdullah Mohammed Al Owais, Chairman of Sharjah Department of Culture (SDC) held a meeting with the publishing department at SDC’s headquarters, to discuss the department’s plan for the current year in the field of publishing and the launch of a digital book which will be issued every month during the current year.
The meeting also discussed the book projects that will be issued soon, and the books that will be printed later this year.
Commenting on this, Al Owais highlighted the role of SDC in supporting the creative people ,intellectuals, all writers and those concerned with all aspects of culture, underscoring the department’s great keenness in providing opportunity to participate in various cultural events.
Al Owais affirmed the department's endeavor in promoting the intellectual, literary and artistic aspects in the Emirate of Sharjah stemming from it’s belief in the great impact of culture and science in the advancement of nations.
