Sharjah Youth hones skills of its participants in arts

Sharjah24: Driven by its keenness to provide an interactive environment that attracts its participants who are interested in arts and literature, Sharjah Youth, affiliated with Rubu’ Qarn Foundation for creating future leaders and innovators, ‎launched various set of virtual programs that aim to hone the talents of youth and provide them with valuable information that helps improve their skills.
Participants in the “Express through Animation” and “Express Comics” programs, presented by the artist Maitha Omar, a Content Creator, trained on the skills of utilizing technology to artistically express in creative and interesting ways.

The participants learned the basics of creating a scene using the Puppet Animation method, which is used in commercials and video games, through the (Sketch Book Motion) application, where they were able to create a group of animated scenes, after mastering the skills of using video editing applications available on smartphones.

The "Express Comics" program included several objectives, the most important of which is training the participants in drawing and designing characters according to the comics style, in addition to providing them with the skills of making a mini magazine that can be published through an A4 paper known as (Zine), that coveys their special personalities and their artistic vision.

The "Art of Debate" program presented by Mahmoud Abdel-Halim and Ramzi Al-Mubarak, a Literature and Language Facilitator at Sharjah Youth, aims to equip the youth with knowledge and skills in the art of conversation, in addition to enhancing their persuasion abilities through encouraging them to read and learn, allowing them to prepare their own research that supports their opinions on various topics whether they be social, scientific and other topics relating to their daily life.

The participants learned the guidelines for discussions, its etiquettes, presentation skills and opinion expression, as well as employing language effectively and persuasively to share their ideas and positively influence others.
