Sharjah24: As part of a tour organised by the Municipal Council of Khorfakkan, a delegation of the municipal councils of the cities of the Eastern Region visited, on Tuesday, the Shees area.
Mohammed Khamis Al Naqbi, Deputy Governor of Shees Region, said in statements to “Sharjah 24” that the visit comes with the aim of getting acquainted with the features of the tourist area and its picturesque nature.
He explained that the existence of a commission of three municipal councils for the cities of Khorfakkan, Kalba and Dibba Al Hisn, based on joint cooperation relations and the consolidation of this cooperation as it raises the interest of citizens and meets their requirements.
The tour began with a visit to the Shees Mountain Park, where the attendees learned about the service and entertainment facilities in the park that is home to the mountains of the region, and then the delegation visited the ancient folklore in the Shees area.
