Sharjah24: Al Aaqed Al Fareed School for Basic Education, in cooperation with the Parents Council in Dibba Al-Hisn of the Sharjah Education Council, organised a workshop entitled :Towards a digitally safe family”.
The workshop, which was conducted Sunday morning through visual communication, presented the educational lecturer Safia Hassan Al Nuaimi from the Parents of Students' Council in the city of Dibba Al Hisn, in the context of converging educational efforts to preserve families and students.
The initiative focused on community partnership in integrating roles on the importance of developing awareness among community members and students of the importance of the concept of digital citizenship and enabling society to adopt a healthy relationship with social media and technology.
The workshop focused on demonstrating the importance of the role of families in following up on sons and daughters during their use of social media in light of the national strategy for cybersecurity in the UAE through community cohesion in spreading the importance of preserving the quality of digital life by achieving the principle of community partnership between the school, family and society.
