SCC’s committee visits Camel Racing, Falconers Club in Sharjah

Sharjah24: Committee for Education, Culture, Media and Youth Affairs at the Sharjah Consultative Council (SCC) organised several visits to a specialised clubs in the Emirate of Sharjah, aimed at reviewing the agenda’s works in Sharjah Falconers Club and Sharjah Camel Racing Club.
That’s came within SCC’s works of the second ordinary session of the tenth legislative chapter and the interest that currently taking in identifying the plans and programmes of sports and specialised clubs in coordination with the Sharjah Sports Council . 

The committee’s delegation presided by His Excellency Dr. Humaid Jasim Al Swaiji, Chairman of the Committee; Sherifa Musa Al Mazemi, the rapporteur of the committee; Dr. Abdul Rahman Muhammad Al Yassi; Aisha Muhammad Bukhater, Nabila Ali Al Hammadi, Talib Al Bali Al Dhahri and Sheikha Ibrahim bin Juwaid, and from the General Secretariat of the Media Council Islam Al Shwi, Secretary of the Committee.

His Excellency Dr. Humaid Jasim Al Swaiji, Chairman of the Committee, highlighted the importance of the partnership which supports the relation between SCC and all Sharjah’s clubs as it’s a vital partner in achieving the ambition of the Emirate of Sharjah in disseminating the sport culture among the families of the society in line of the vision of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohamed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah. 

Chairman of Education, Culture, Media and Youth Affairs committee underscored that these visits came within the strategic works of the committee, highlighting its keenness to support all types of sports. 

Dr. Humaid Jasim Al Swaiji pointed out that these visits aimed to explore the talented players and insure the continuation of its workflow, highlighting the importance of working hand to hand with Sharjah Sport Council and its departments in order to continue the march of development in sport field. 

The committee has made a visit to Sharjah Falconers Club in Mleiha meeting the chairperson of the cub, Mohamed Khaleifah Al Bedwawi and a number of the club’s heads. 

Al Bedwawi acquainted the delegation with the club's achievements, future plans for 2021 as well as the accomplishments of the club since its inception in 2016. 

The delegation also made a visit to the Sharjah Camel Racing Club meeting its chairperson, Matar Ali Bin Huwaiden and a number of the club’s heads.   

Bin Huwaiden acquainted the delegation with the directives of the club and it role in organising tournaments during the current year and hosting festivals, competitions, conferences and gatherings related to camels in coordination with Sharjah Sports Council.
