Sharjah24: Colonel Sami Al Naqbi, Director General of Sharjah Civil Defense, pointed out the importance of installing smoke detectors in homes, as it is one of the vital projects adopted by the United Arab Emirates, due to its importance in preserving lives and property, in addition to ensuring the readiness and speed of response from civil defense teams in case fires occur in homes.
Colonel Sami Al-Naqbi confirmed, during a statement to “Sharjah 24”, that studies have shown that 90% of accidents occur in homes, indicating that injuries and deaths occur as a result of inhaling carbon dioxide gas resulting from fires.
The Director General of Civil Defense in Sharjah called on members of the public and society to fully adhere to the necessity of installing a fire detection system in homes to preserve lives and property, wishing safety and health for all.
