Sharjah24: The Sharjah Consultative Council (SCC) will hold its seventh session on Thursday, December 24, 2020, as part of its work for the second regular session of the tenth legislative term.
The session will be held at 10 am, chaired by His Excellency Ali Mehd Al Suwaidi, Chairman of the SCC, after taking all precautions, safety measures and social distancing.
The Council is discussing a draft law on the general budget of Sharjah government departments and agencies for 2021 and the report received from the Financial, Economic and Industrial Affairs Committee.
SCC also directs a parliamentary question to the Sharjah Housing Department through His Excellency Suhail Salem Al Kaabi, a member of the Council, regarding the department's follow-up mechanism and its roles regarding disbursement of financial payments to the beneficiaries of housing loans and grants.
