Sharjah24: Mohammed Talafha, observer at the Sharjah Academy for Astronomy, Space Sciences, and Technology (SAASST) said that the two new asteroids that were discovered in the solar system was done in collaboration with US-based Pan-Starrs Telescope, stressing that the new asteroids were discovered in the solar system’s asteroid belt region, located roughly between the orbits of the planets Jupiter and Mars.
In exclusive statements to "Sharjah 24", Talafha added that such discoveries help in understanding the solar system more, by studying its movement around the sun, explaining that these asteroids are far from the earth and the sun by a great distance.
