Sharjah24: The Central Region Department of the Sharjah Electricity, Water and Gas Authority (SEWA) has completed the installation and operation of lighting for the Al Dhaid Camel Race Track in the Central Region, as part of the development projects to serve the people in these areas and provide security and safety.
Commenting on this, Engineer Khalifa Muhammad Al Tunaiji, Director of the Central Region Department of the Sharjah Electricity, Water and Gas Authority, confirmed that the project came in implementation of the directives of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohamed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah. He pointed out that the central region is witnessing an urban renaissance supported by infrastructure according to the best specifications, especially with regard to energy projects.
He has further highlighted the Authority's keenness to ensure keeping pace with the development and implementing important projects that will have a significant impact on economic growth and promote sustainable development in the central region.
He pointed out that the Authority has implemented a number of street and road lighting projects in the central region, which contributes to providing the best services with the latest technology standards, to meet the needs of the population, enhance infrastructure, and develop its facilities, noting that the lighting projects are among the vital projects that the Sharjah Electricity, Water and Gas Authority continues to implement in all areas, cities and regions of the emirate.
