Sharjah24: Abdul Aziz Ahmed Al Shamsi, Director General of the Sharjah Real Estate Registration Department (SRED) stated on the Martyrs' Day which falls on 30 of November, that this day is a national day which reflects the meanings of sacrifice, loyalty, belonging, and patriotism in the UAE, highlighting that the people of the UAE are always ready to offer their most valuable assets as a sacrifice for their country and wise leadership.
Al Shamsi added that the people of the UAE today stand on this day as a reverence for the spirits of the heroes who wrote with their blood the noblest stories of sacrifice and giving in the fields of honor and who became a source of pride for us and for future generations.
Al Shamsi emphasised that our ancestors taught us that homelands are not built without the sacrifices of their children, underscoring the highest meaning of giving is fulfilling the nation’s call with souls, thus the Martyrs' Day comes to commemorate those sacrifices which confirm the depth of the citizen's loyalty to their homeland and leadership.
