Sharjah24: Badr Mohammed Saab, Head of Corporate Communication at the Sharjah Book Authority, said, based on the meetings with the Sharjah Crisis and Disasters Committee, a special protocol has been drawn up for visitors to the Sharjah International Book Fair in order to preserve their safety and health.
Badr added in statements to “Sharjah 24”: The visitor registers on the website designated for the exhibition, and then visits the platforms inside the exhibition and highlights their code, after which the visitor is given a special colored tape that is placed in the hand to determine the period to remain inside the exhibition.
The head of institutional communication at the Sharjah Book Authority pointed out: There are many precautions and preventive measures that have been worked on, the most prominent of which is placing awareness posters on the exhibition floors in all languages, in addition to providing sterilisation devices in all sections of the exhibition, as well as mentioning through internal loudspeakers on the process of social distancing.
