The exhibition moves between domestic scenes and abstraction, exploring the everyday moments through which the body shapes how people perceive and inhabit the world.

Presented together, Majid's and Zafar's works reveal a shared approach to representing surfaces, materials and silhouettes, highlighting subtle aspects of the body's presence in everyday life.

Body Quotidian, curated by Raja’a Khalid, Assistant Curator at Sharjah Art Foundation, is on view at Gallery 6, Al Mureijah Square, Sharjah, until 20 September 2026.

Before the exhibition concludes, visitors have the opportunity to experience the artists' recent works and explore their approaches to the relationship between the body, materials and everyday surroundings.
