The French champions were powered by a hat-trick from new signing and Spain international Ferran Torres, who scored the winning goal in the 2026 World Cup final. Torres struck in the 31st, 47th and 57th minutes after Ousmane Dembélé had put PSG in control with a brace in the 17th and 23rd minutes.
Fabián Ruiz added a sixth for the hosts in the 88th minute, while Slovan Bratislava’s only goal came from Gambian forward Suleiman Kamara in the 59th minute.
The emphatic victory marked a strong response from Luis Enrique’s side following an uncharacteristically poor start to their domestic campaign.
PSG, who are seeking a third consecutive Champions League title, began their league campaign with two draws and a defeat, including a 2-1 home loss to Monaco on Friday.
However, the Parisians once again demonstrated why they remain a formidable force in European competition.
PSG have now gone unbeaten in their last 12 European matches, with eight victories and four draws.
They also continued a long-standing trend among defending champions, remaining unbeaten in their opening home match of a European Cup/Champions League title defence since Celtic's defeat in 1968.
