Al Hamriyah Municipality, in cooperation with the Al Hamriyah Municipal Council, conducted a field visit to inspect infrastructure projects in Al Hamriyah and assess the readiness of streets and related facilities. During the tour this morning, participants reviewed project progress across various areas, focusing on routes experiencing increased traffic with the start of the academic year. They ensured the roads were ready to accommodate the movement of vehicles and school buses, thereby contributing to smoother traffic flow and enhanced safety for road users.

Landscaping projects enhance the learning environment

The work also includes planting trees and undertaking landscaping projects to beautify the areas surrounding schools, contributing to a comfortable and attractive learning environment, enhancing the urban landscape, and increasing green spaces, all of which will positively impact students and the community.

Mubarak Al Shamsi, Director of Al Hamriyah Municipality, said: “Ahead of the new academic year, we are keen to intensify field monitoring, ensure the readiness of infrastructure and related facilities, and directly address needs and observations, especially given the increased traffic during this period. The safety of our students and community members is our top priority, and we are working to provide the highest levels of preparedness to enhance infrastructure efficiency and improve the quality of services provided to the city's residents and visitors.”

Al Shamsi added that the tour reflects the ongoing integration and coordination between Al Hamriyah Municipality and the Municipal Council, and their commitment to directly monitoring development and infrastructure projects, keeping pace with the city's growth and improving the level of services provided to citizens, residents, and visitors.

On this occasion, His Excellency Mubarak Rashid Al Shamsi extends his congratulations to the students, their parents, and the administrative and teaching staff of Al Hamriyhah schools on the approach of the 2026-2027 academic year, wishing them a year full of success, excellence and achievement.
