The programme focused on developing participants' skills in analysing data and extracting indicators to support accurate, evidence-based decisions, in line with modern approaches to data-driven government operations.
Training covered several areas, including understanding the data lifecycle, cleaning and preparing data for analysis, and extracting indicators and designing data dashboards.
Participants also learned to translate analytical findings into practical recommendations, provide decision-makers with accurate data and executive reports, and apply modern analytical techniques to improve performance and decision-making efficiency.
The programme featured practical models and real-world applications to deepen participants' understanding of data analysis and its application in government operations.
Noura Haji Al Zarouni, Director of the Support Services Department at SEDD, said the programme reflects the department's commitment to investing in human capital and to developing employees' analytical and decision-making capabilities.
She noted that adopting data-driven methodologies contributes to improving institutional efficiency and to achieving excellence in service delivery.
Al Zarouni added that SEDD will continue to launch specialised training programmes that promote a workplace based on knowledge and innovation, enhance employees' readiness for future developments, and support the department's strategic objectives and Sharjah's competitiveness.
