Sharjah 24: Sharjah Sports Council (SSC) announced the launch of the "Kafa’at" electronic platform, which aims to establish a central database of sports and administrative talents and leaders capable of contributing to the development of the sports sector in the Emirate of Sharjah.

Strategic platform to support sports leadership

The platform will serve as a strategic resource for the Council when forming or restructuring club boards of directors, establishing advisory and specialised committees, nominating the Emirate's representatives to sports federations, and utilising specialised expertise for future projects and initiatives.

Registration opens for qualified talents

Registration for the platform is done directly through its dedicated website by submitting personal data, qualifications, certificates, experience, and previous positions, in addition to the positions targeted and availability to commit to full-time or part-time work, along with supporting documents.

Two pathways for participation

Participation in the platform is possible through two paths: self-registration by creating a profile showcasing experience and qualifications or nominating a qualified person. The initial nomination process requires only the candidate's name, contact information, reason for nomination, and proposed areas of expertise. The platform team will then contact the candidate to complete their profile.

Wide range of expertise sought

Nominations for positions are based on experience in the following fields: executive management, strategy, governance, investment, marketing, media, legal affairs, financial management, auditing, human resources, event management, facilities management, and talent development. Nominations are also open for board positions and executive roles within Sharjah clubs.
