Zubaida Abdulaziz, Deputy Director of Corporate Communications and Marketing at the Holy Quran Academy, said the programme’s theme reflects the organisation’s vision of promoting the Holy Quran as a comprehensive way of life that goes beyond recitation and reflection, translating its teachings into everyday behaviour and moral values that help shape positive and influential individuals.
Speaking to Sharjah24, Abdulaziz explained that the summer programme features seven carefully designed learning pathways to cater for students’ different interests and passions.
This week’s schedule includes a range of interactive activities and workshops, such as the Future Guide programme, which trains students in museum guiding skills within the Academy’s museums, photography workshops to develop participants’ media and creative abilities, and specialised courses in Tajweed (the rules of Quranic recitation) and the Secrets of Memorising the Holy Quran.
Abdulaziz encouraged parents to make the most of the summer holiday by enrolling their children in the programme, stressing that building a strong connection with the Holy Quran is the greatest investment in raising a responsible generation with strong moral values.
