The project is located on a plot of land measuring 711.3 square meters and consists of two adjacent residential villas, each with a ground floor and a first floor.
The proceeds of this endowment are allocated to support and maintain the mosques stipulated by the donor according to the endowment document, and any excess is spent on the rest of the mosques in Sharjah.
The project aims to implement the Endowment Law in Sharjah, the UAE's first law dedicated to endowment reconstruction. Article (34) of Law No. (8) of 2018 requires supervisors to retain 10% to 50% of the endowment's net revenue for construction and reconstruction, ensuring its continuity based on its structural condition.
Talib Al Marri, Director General of the Department of Awqaf, affirmed that the endowments reconstruction projects embody the Department’s keenness to achieve its goals by taking care of and preserving endowments within the limits of Sharia and legal regulations and in accordance with best practices, in order to ensure the sustainability of its resources and maximize its impact in serving the community.
