Responding to Growing Demand
The decision comes in response to surging travel demand to Phuket, one of Thailand’s top holiday destinations. The increased frequency aims to offer more convenience and flexibility for travelers.
The move also boosts Air Arabia’s presence in Thailand, where it already operates direct flights from Sharjah to Bangkok and Krabi.
Strategic Expansion
“Thailand continues to be a key destination for both leisure and business travellers,” said Adel Al Ali, Group CEO of Air Arabia.
He added that the added flights to Phuket reflect strong market demand and reaffirm the airline’s commitment to choice, convenience, and value. The expansion also supports tourism and trade ties between the UAE and Thailand.
Enhanced Fleet and Services
Air Arabia currently operates a fleet of 83 Airbus A320 and A321 aircraft. Passengers can benefit from:
SkyTime: Free in-flight streaming service
SkyCafe: Onboard food and beverage menu
Air Rewards: The airline’s regional loyalty program
These services enhance the passenger experience while maintaining the airline’s affordable travel model.
